What you will be doing:

1. Strategic Talent Development and Succession Planning

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent management strategy aligned with the company’s objectives and culture.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify future talent needs and create long-term development and succession plans and organization excellence.
  • Create strategies to bridge skill gaps and integrate effectively into the organization.
  • Develop and Implement performance management programs and work with managers to provide coaching and support for employee development.
  • Develop and ensure that organization-wide talent management and Performance management initiatives are focused and aligned on improving operational and program efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Create career paths, performance management systems, and learning programs to foster employee growth and retention.

2. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Employee Engagement

  • Foster a culture of inclusivity, belonging, and diversity, ensuring all employees feel valued and respected.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, motivation, and well-being.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute engagement programs, including wellness initiatives, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
  • Measure and analyze employee engagement data, identify trends, and develop action plans to address areas of improvement. Implement strategies to ensure diversity and inclusivity in talent acquisition, development, and retention practices.
  • Work closely with HR and senior leadership to align people engagement strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in people engagement.

3. Compliance and Best Practices

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and best practices in talent management across all regions of operation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, implementing new approaches where applicable.

4. Reporting and Intelligence

  • Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of talent management initiatives and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Develop regular reports and presentations for senior leadership on talent-related metrics and trends.
  • Keep up-to-date with relevant employment legislation in all regions.

What skills & experience you will bring to us:

  • Proven track record in a senior leadership role within Talent Management or Human Resources, ideally in a global setting within the logistics, supply chain, or related industries.
  • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to align talent initiatives with business objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent development and retention strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
  • In-depth understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the workplace.
  • Profound knowledge of executive selling and presentation techniques at C-level, both internal and external.
  • International experience, intercultural sensitivity, and the ability to collaborate with teams and partners worldwide.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • With more than 12 years of comprehensive experience in Human Resources and Talent Management.
