A brilliant school in West Berkshire are looking to take on a Youth Mental Health Advocate this term. The school are fully committed to creating a supportive, nurturing environment where students can express themselves freely and receive the support they need while still accessing high quality education. Students attending the school are aged 7 – 16 years old and face challenges regarding social, emotional and mental health needs. The Youth Mental Health Advocate role is a crucial position within the school’s community.
Main Responsibilities Of a Youth Mental Health Advocate
Using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage students
Create a safe environment for students to speak freely
Collaborate with educational psychologists to tailor learning plans
Implement therapeutic techniques
Encourage independence and self-investigation
1-1 based support and interventions The school are thrilled to take on a Youth Mental Health Advocate to improve their students’ quality of education. Full training is given on site. Experience working with children with additional needs is beneficial but not mandatory! The school are seeking a confident, enthusiastic candidate to help their students reach their full potential in education and society.
Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:30
£80 to £90 per day
